This Privacy Policy explains how Keel ("Keel", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Keel mobile app and related services (the "Service"). This document is a template and should be reviewed by your own legal counsel before publishing.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you create an account.
• Training & health data: workouts, heart-rate variability, sleep, and recovery metrics you choose to sync from connected devices and health apps.
• Context signals: approximate location, weather, and calendar availability used to adapt your sessions, when you grant permission.
• Usage & device data: app interactions, device type, and diagnostic logs used to keep the Service reliable.

2. How we use information

We use your information to provide the core Keel experience: building and continuously adapting your training plan, generating each day's session, syncing with the devices you connect, and improving the quality of our recommendations. We also use it to maintain security, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about the Service.

3. Connected services

When you link a wearable, bike computer, or health platform, we access only the data categories needed to coach you. You can disconnect any integration at any time from within the app, which stops future data collection from that source.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as cloud hosting and analytics), when required by law, or with your explicit consent.

5. Data retention & your rights

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents where required.
